What's A Facebook Like Worth To Partners?

28 Mar 2012 at 02:11 PM  |  0 Comments

Dan Migala, founder of the Migala Report, kicked off a lively conversation this AM on the value of a Facebook "like." Here's the tweet that got things started.

As more properties fling open the doors to social media assets like Twitter, Pinterest and Facebook, it's important to consider the value partners place on a "like," "share," "tweet," "pin" or whatever-comes-next provides. At the same time, with some brands racking up solid six figure follower bases, what in-kind value are brands bringing to the table by promoting an event to their brand fans?

It's a tough nut to crack, but we applaud those who try. One firm that did just that is Imbue Marketing. Check out this infographic from Imbue Marketing via PCMag and tell us in comments how you would go about determining a valuation for your organization's social media following.
