KATY, Texas, June 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Academy Sports + Outdoors (d/b/a Academy), a premier sports, outdoor and lifestyle retailer, announced it will add a second store in Columbia, South Carolina in July 2014 and that it has renewed its multi-year partnership with the Univ. of South Carolina. The new 72,000 square foot store will be located at the intersection of Park Terrace Dr. and Bower Pkwy., and bring approximately 150 new jobs to the area.
