There is an analogy that says if a university is a house, then its athletics are the porch: Not necessarily the most important aspect, but certainly the first thing that many outsiders see. In terms of LMU’s house, Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing Karina Handeland is charged with making sure that the porch looks as good as possible. Over the last few years, she has gone about tweaking the logos and branding of LMU Athletics to improve their marketability and national recognition.
