Aetna Invites Families to 'Play' at the New Haven Open at Yale Aug 18, 2011 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Aetna announced it is tennis time in Connecticut, and the Company urges families to join in the fun, energy and excitement of professional women's tennis at the New Haven Open at Yale presented by First Niagara, running through August 27, at the Connecticut Tennis Center at Yale.According to a release, the tournament, which will once again showcase the best women's players in the world including three-time defending champion and World No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki, has been reenergized this year with new sponsors and activities. We hope the events, including tennis clinics for all ages, will please lifelong tennis fans as well as engage newcomers of all ages and walks of life in the fun of the sport."Aetna Kids Day presented by ESPN will be held on Sunday, August 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It promises to be a fun-filled day of music, court games, giveaways, a free tennis clinic for children, autograph sessions and appearances by the WTA stars.Throughout the tournament, the Aetna FitZone will feature health and fitness activities for children and adults. Fans can enjoy a new daily Aetna Fitness Clinic from 1-4 p.m., which offers tennis instruction, cardio tennis and Zumba. The Aetna FitZone also will feature week-long 10 and under tennis activities, a Fast Serve contest, games, face painting, a bungee run, an activity center and prizes."We are delighted with how Aetna is activating its New Haven Open sponsorship," said Tournament Director Anne Worcester.
