LogMeIn Inc. LOGM, -1.16% today announced that the company has signed on as the Presenting Sponsor for the Grand Prix of Boston, to be held Labor Day weekend 2016. The inaugural event will be held September 2-4, 2016, in the South Boston Waterfront area and will feature world-class street racing including the Verizon INDYCAR Series and other sports car events, and a range of family-friendly activities. LogMeIn plans to leverage its award-winning Internet of Things (IoT) platform and application solution, Xively, to bring IoT technology to the Grand Prix to help enhance the fan experience.
