The Charlottesville Pavilion will be officially renamed the “nTelos Wireless Pavilion” after the City Council voted Monday to approve a naming rights deal for the downtown amphitheater. Some councilors expressed reservations about approving the name change, but said their hands were tied due to the terms of the city’s lease with Charlottesville Pavilion, LLC, the operating company owned by real estate and music mogul Coran Capshaw.
