DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES - By Art Walk standards, May was quiet. An estimated crowd of about 20,000 people felt far smaller. Unlike some past events, the sidewalks were easily navigable and there were few lines outside bars. This week’s event could be far different. Art Walk crowds traditionally spike when the heat rises. Past estimates from Art Walk officials have put attendance at some of the summer happenings at 30,000.
