As part of the deal, Sony Electronics will provide professional HD production technology for use in a state-of-the-art HD broadcast control room, while 600 Sony professional and consumer full HD 1080p screens will be positioned throughout the new US$1 billion arena.   In addition, the partnership will include a collaborative marketing effort whereby Sony will benefit from branding throughout the venue and other media, as well as on-site consumer product demonstrations.   “Barclays Center and the Brooklyn Nets are delighted to work with Sony, the leading brand in consumer and professional electronics,” said Barclays Center and Brooklyn Nets chief executive Brett Yormark. “Our high quality programming will be processed and displayed on the best equipment in the industry, offering a superior customer experience.
