Telefonica has announced that tennis player Rafa Nadal, the current world number 1 in the ATP ranking and recent winner of his 9th Roland Garros, will be the company’s new global ambassador until 2020. During the next 6 years he will represent both the institutional brand and the commercial brands – Movistar, O2 and Vivo – in Spain, the UK, Germany and the Latin American countries where the company operates.
