HOUSTON, July 24, 2003 - Toyota has reached a multi-year agreement with the Houston Rockets, Houston Comets and Clutch City Sports & Entertainment for the naming rights of the new downtown arena – to be called Toyota Center. Starting this September, Toyota Center will serve as the home to Houston’s professional basketball franchises and the American Hockey League’s Houston Aeros, as well as the city’s premier venue for entertainment shows.
