The Director of Events & Venue Partnerships will report to the Vice President of Events & Venue Partnerships and will be an integral team member in leading and supporting sales efforts of iHeartRadio’s national tent-pole events and theaters (LA & NY) through pre-existing relationships, lead generation, cold calling and generating new revenue. Director will also support Vice President with internal leads and pitches. Required Skills Lead sponsorship sales with Vice President for the following tent-pole events outside of the top 50 assigned accounts & agencies by developing new relationships and generating new revenue for: the iHeartRadio Music Festival & Village, iHeartRadio Theaters (NY/LA), iHeartRadio Country Festival, iHeartRadio Music Awards, iHeartRadio Ultimate Pool Party, iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina, iHeartRadio Valentine’s Escape & the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour Work to achieve yearly sponsorship budget Develop programmatic content for theaters & lead sales for both venues (focus on LA) Work closely with Vice President and both local & national groups to help sell tent-pole events to existing clients and top 200 accounts Lead sales meetings and help craft internal and external documents, manage internal next steps and client facing decks and LOI’s Maintain current knowledge of sponsorship industry landscape, market trends, key category activity across music, sports & entertainment Collaborate with cornerstone departments and cross functional teams, ensuring communication and information flow timely and effectively, and execution of strategy on all projects remains consistent Maintain SalesForce entries for respective accounts and other sales reporting tools as needed


Required Skills
