This position will be responsible for handling domestic and/or international promotional partners for the Star Wars Ep. VII Theatrical Release and assisting in other marketing projects to be determined. Primary Responsibilities: • Manage the day-today relationship with key promotional partners, develop and manage integrated strategic program, logistics, and approvals of all materials relating to The Star Wars Ep. VII theatrical tie-in promotions for each of the promotional partners assigned. • Work with manager on the integrated creative development, including packaging, promotion mechanics, and production of POS materials. Ensure all creative materials falls within approved strategy. • Develop and maintain creative timelines. • Work with promotional partners and Disney Studio Marketing and Retail teams to develop media plans, marketing creative (television, radio, print and online) and account specific programs. • Work with promotional partners and licensing to develop premiums. • Act as the "point person" with each of the appropriate promotional partners. • Review and obtain comments and final approval on marketing plans and creative materials. • Work with partner to localize promotion for appropriate territories. • Act as liaison between Marketing, Production, Licensing and Disney to ensure all necessary parties are in the know of what it happening with each of the partners. • Responsible for maintaining legal clearances. • Keep all divisions for the Marketing Team up-to-date on the development of the promotion (PR, Online). • Assist with other projects as needed.


Required Skills

• Requires a four-year degree in business, marketing, communications or related field. • 3-5 years Entertainment Marketing experience preferred • Strong oral and written communication skills • Understanding of the content creation process, promotion, development and execution process and experience executing promotions • Exceptional work ethic, strong organization and time management skills. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in constantly changing environment. • Appreciation, understanding and respect for the Star Wars franchise • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Strong computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
