Leads or participates in the daily activities of the events marketing team engaged in developing, implementing, maintaining and revising comprehensive event marketing programs and other event initiatives for talk programming and live event remotes. Executes on site activities for remote broadcast events, including readying locations, managing the planning, logistics and execution of radio remote broadcast events. Supports development of Audio event and marketing programs for remote events including participation on strategy discussion, development of plans and budget creation. Manages project / event calendars and communication of key event deliverables and timelines. Provide direction to the Creative Services team for all remote event creative needs. Manages event sponsorship integration to ensure sponsor obligations are integrated and executed at relevant remote events. Manages on site crews, equipment logistics, and schedules during live broadcast remotes. Participates in the management of the entire radio remote events process, including development of strategy with ad sales and programming and the overall presentation and execution of the remote event. Works with ad sales to develop sponsorship marketing concepts / assets that are integrated into Remote events to drive incremental revenue and is responsible to ensure that all sales sponsorship obligations for live events are executed on-site and in accordance with the sponsorship agreement and ESPN advertising standards. Manages the development and execution on all in-market client hospitality events and serves as the Radio liaison with ESPN Special Events Marketing. Manages the execution for Radio remote broadcast events and ensures that events support the approved brand and marketing strategies for Radio talk show brands and Play by Play events. Responsible for the management and development of marketing and events staff.


Required Skills

Basic Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience with knowledge of radio and digital media and people management experience. - Strong organization and planning skills and in-depth knowledge of marketing and events operations skills to effectively manage all support needs to ensure successful events. - Ability to travel to various remote broadcast events. Preferred Qualifications: - Has knowledge of organization, procurement, financial and logistical skills relating to show creation. Required Education: - Bachelor’s degree
