Seek, develop, and implement a comprehensive consumer promotions plan that promotes the goals of LEGOLAND Florida Resort. Targets and solicits national and regional consumer promotional partners that will gain exposure and increase revenue and attendance for LEGOLAND Florida Resort. Additionally works to secure new and maintain existing LEGOLAND Florida Partnerships through relationship management and communication with Partners. SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Identifies, develops, negotiates and manages regional and national consumer goods promotions. Sets goals and objectives, develops prospects and contacts, develops and implements an action plan, negotiates agreements, and ensures contracts are approved and promotions are executed. 2. Creates, determines costs, schedules, implements, tracks and manages promotional programs such as discount coupons, prizes, give-a-ways, and other special programs to increase attendance to the park. Establishes and evaluates relationships with national promotional organizations and oversees same with regional and local promotional partners. 3. Pursues partnership opportunities and builds a strong internal and external network of business and marketing partners. Develops alliances with mega-brands to implement multi-year agreements. Ensure partnerships are linked to capex and growth needs and shared in a timely fashion with all involved parties. 4. Negotiates agreements and coordinates contracts and commitments, reviewing copy, layout, completeness and accuracy of partnership agreements. Meets with contract adminstrator to finalize details and follow through on terms and conditions. Must adhere to brand guidelines for any MEG US brands involved. 5. Evaluates ongoing or completed initiatives, researches trends and analyzes competitor activities to identify industry trends and opportunities and provide insight for strategy moving forward. Ensures ongoing communication of results and reports. 6. Attends various meetings, public and media events, based on needs and schedules.


Required Skills

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE: Requires three to five years of progressive experience in working with sales and partner clients with a history of success in identifying and building strategic marketing alliances, selling advertising or other intangibles, and negotiating contracts. Requires demonstrated ability to develop and execute innovative/creative programs and to accomplish revenue and in-kind objectives. Active knowledge of brand management, sponsorships, advertising, and sales. Experience in attraction or hospitality industry is helpful. Candidate must be able to utilize knowledge of the business community to transform strong relationships/networks into impactful tangible business results. Requires the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders on a local and national level. Also requires strong written and oral communication and presentation skills, attention to detail, strong project management and organizational skills, ability to meet tight deadlines, and sound decision making. EDUCATION: A bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication arts, advertising, business, marketing, or closely related field (or equivalent education and experience) is required.
