Responsible for Charter Elite Program NFL, Marketing Strategy and Execution. Key responsibilities include setting marketing strategy for the acquisition of accounts and on-going customer experience, social media engagement, budgeting and forecasting, P&L and renewal negotiation, campaign execution, and project management. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Acquisitions Marketing • Collaborate with the NFL, Teams and BCUS Channel managers to develop on the strategy and implementation of acquisition campaigns for the NFL Extra Points program, including direct mail, events, paid search, display, affiliates, social media, and loyalty/engagement, especially as it relates to Team assets • Responsible for product development, creative and channel optimization, and project management for the portfolio. • Liaise with the Decision Management team to leverage existing Barclays models to target best responding clients • Work with partner to gather requirements for cell builds and liaise with Campaign Development to execute • Own budgeting, accrual, and compensation for the portfolio • Manage the new account forecast process and report on variances as needed • Make recommendations on tools, channels, strategies, and best practices • Monitor campaign performance and recommend strategies to address areas for improvement • Extensively proofread marketing collateral to ensure accuracy • Route copy through Barclays Communications, Legal and Compliance to ensure consistency and accuracy Existing Customer Marketing • Responsible for budget and creative/channel optimization • Create quarterly newsletters to update customers on enhancements to the program, special offers, and encourage use of the card and redemption of points. Responsible to the sweepstakes opportunity in each newsletter • Work with the loyalty team in marketing to keep the loyalty program competitive, like adding and enhancing cash back redemption options • Manage the extent to which the NFL portfolio participates in company-wide ECM initiatives and help to create communications that speak to the NFL fan and not just the credit card. Ensure execution of Customer Marketing efforts • Manage Visa and MasterCard calendar as well as identify opportunities for messaging, merchant offers, sweepstakes for new and existing clients, and other strategies and tactics • Guide retention, activation, and usage of card, also including providing monthly client behavior trend analysis and strategy recommendations to improve retention, activation, and usage • Work with the NFL to promote important league initiatives like Breast Cancer Awareness and the Salute to Service. Other Responsibilities: • Deliver reports to NFL Partner • Proactively identify trends and opportunities • Overall management of technology and customer delivery projects initiated by the NFL segment • Provide creative direction to agencies, designers, or partner to develop on target and effective marketing collateral • Actively manage communications with other Barclaycard departments to ensure flawless execution of acquisitions campaigns • Manage creative vendor relationships as needed • Frequent and thorough communication with Partner and Segment on marketing initiatives • Travel required to Teams, NFL league office, NFL Events • Present to Senior Management, the NFL and Teams on the performance of the program Risk and Control Objective: • Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Barclays Operational Risk Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Standards.


Required Skills

• Bachelors Degree Required • Previous experience working in Marketing • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
