We are seeking an experienced, results-oriented individual to manage a highly visible portfolio of events. The Events Marketing Manager will play a key role in working with multiple stakeholders at Dropbox such as product marketing, PR, sales, partnerships and design to develop unique Dropbox experiences that tell or amplify a Dropbox story and drive business impact. The candidate will be an experienced event marketer with a solid understanding of event planning, execution and measurement best practices, knowledge and experience with Enterprise and Consumer programs. In this role, the Event Marketing Manager will drive thought leadership, assist in building the event strategy aligned to business objectives to ensure event success and excellence in event marketing execution. The ideal candidate is a self starter with clear attention to detail, strong communication skills and understanding the end-to-end funnel, sales pipeline and analytics. The role will require strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple simultaneous projects and events, while keeping stakeholders updated on schedules and timelines. This is an ever changing environment so flexibility, resourcefulness, and strategic influencing are essential. This position requires frequent contact with all levels across the company including business groups, senior executives, field marketing groups, and external suppliers. Responsibilities - Design in-person events focusing on customer experience and event objectives to drive business impact and maximize return - Create and gain support for shared vision across multiple stakeholder teams and provide confident leadership to teams influencing recommended business outcomes - Development of value propositions and packages for attendee acquisition and partner participation - Project management including (but not limited to) budget management, revenue generation, accounting, venue selection, vendor sourcing and management, project plan management, event promotion and registration, on-site event management, event measurement and analytics, prioritization and issue escalation - Utilize measurement and analytics to deliver event against expected business results and key performance targets, including reach, leads, pipeline, attendee satisfaction, and press coverage - Expertly lead and manage core planning meetings across marketing groups, driving alignment against shared objectives - Work closely with marketing, sales, product teams, PR, and executive management to achieve business goals via event marketing. - Analyze event, industry and competitive data. Utilize meaningful and relevant data to improve effectiveness and efficient of events


Required Skills

- Minimum 3-5 years of event management experience in a business or hi-tech industry - Strong strategic project management (people, budget and time) experience and organizational skills including the ability manage large budgets, teams and complex schedules - Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills are required. - Self-motivated and directed person, requiring minimal supervision for successful assignment completion. - Demonstrated success in building measurable event marketing campaigns.
