ABOUT SLS Street League Skateboarding (SLS) is a global sports league connected to the rising youth. SLS is the focal point for anyone who loves to watch the very best in skateboarding. The SLS Nike SB World Tour, live on FOX Sports 1, is at the core of the SLS platform and is a multi-stop professional series that transforms world-class arenas to one-of-a-kind concrete skate plazas where the best pros compete for a historical prize purse of more than $1mm. SLS is also dedicated to the development of the infrastructure of the sport, including the implementation of a path-to-pro, as well as SLS’ charitable arm, the SLS Foundation, whose primary goal is to create safe, permanent skate plazas in communities around the world. SLS is led by several major partners (including Nike, Monster Energy, GoPro, Cricket Wireless, and Pac-Sun) as well as supported via a major investment from Causeway Media Partners – a venture capital firm focusing on sports, media, and technology. As such, the league is ready to expand its live events, personnel, and overall visibility within the sports world. Street League Skateboarding is the brainchild of TV personality and entrepreneur, Rob Dyrdek. ABOUT THE POSITION Street League is looking for a full-time Partnerships Manager to become an integral part of the team. This position will work closely with the Director of Partnerships to ensure premium integration of partnerships in the overall platform, strategic and thoughtful delivery of all benefits, year-round communication between the League and all partners for amplification of initiatives, and a positive experience for all stakeholders. Candidate will be directly involved with management of partnerships including day to day communication, campaign strategy and execution, facilitation of on-site/event weekend experience and activation. Candidate will also have opportunity to assist in development and execution of long-term departmental strategy and methodology with the goal of delivering world-class partnership services to all of our clients and simultaneously elevating the League and sport of skateboarding. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES • Assist in guiding new brand relationships for successful integration into the SLS platform, including taking lead on day-to-day communication and planning with select partners, communicating status, potential issues/needs back to Director of Partnerships. • Update / create necessary documents and processes to support seamless fulfillment of all contract benefits (i.e. sponsor guides, calendars, inventory & benefits tracking matrixes, partnership customization concept grid, etc), including management throughout season for to-date understanding of status and continuous communication with Director of Partnerships for proper management of clients/vendors. • Service a network of relationships; understanding, maintaining, and adding value to SLS’ key relationships. • Assist as liaison between Director of Partnerships and key SLS team members/freelance vendors; work with and coordinate high-level internal and external stakeholders, including communication and collaboration across multiple disciplines and organizational groups for purposes of benefits tracking, execution, and other objectives as needed (i.e. telecast/webcast production, live event production, venue managers, digital/social/content channels, city personnel, agency relations, etc). • Work with Director of Partnerships and VP of Sales to develop sales presentations and all other necessary sales materials/tools, as well as wrap reports as needed. • Assist in development of custom activation concepts for both prospective and existing brand partners. • Assist in defining key performance indicators and implement measurement, analytics, and reporting methods to gauge success. Organize findings, and deliver along with summary, best practices, and recommended applications. • Work with all channels to explore and identify ways to authentically integrate partners into existing/new initiatives. • Project-manage the timely and accurate delivery of assets and information as it relates to partner benefits and campaigns. • Research of best practices, monitoring relevant industry trends and current events to provide insights to management team, apply to strategy and ideation sessions • Participate in the identification of new and existing areas of opportunity for partnership support to help maximize revenue opportunities.

IDEAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE • Passionate about client service and consistent elevation of SLS and client’s objectives and campaigns • Drive to create systems and continuously improve processes • Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders; track record of producing high-quality deliverables on time • Confident and intuitive individual with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment • Sports marketing, activation, and/or sponsorship experience and experience working on large-scale, multi-venue series/events preferred • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate and interact with variety of personalities and roles • Meticulous organization and planning skills; excellent attention to detail • Experience managing budgets, establishing processes, building structure and communicating such to other stakeholders for effective adaptation • Proven experience of working with and coordinating high-level internal and external stakeholders, including communication and collaboration across multiple disciplines and organizational groups • Proven experience of working with and coordinating across all departments to help support the successful and thoughtful execution of benefits packages and campaigns • Dynamic, solutions-orientated approach to situations • Ability to tackle multi-faceted projects/processes with eye for efficiencies and implementation of observed best practices where applicable • Self-starter, able to thoughtfully progress projects autonomously as well as be a team player • Personable; positive and enthusiastic attitude; fun to be around; collaborative spirit • BS/BA degree from accredited university and 2+ years of experience in business, communications, marketing, or advertising preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, and especially Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledgeable in Adobe Design Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc) a plus • Ability to travel to all SLS events, including proper management and execution of on-site tasks as needed • Dedication to premium execution of wide variety of projects, including willingness to work long hours when necessary • Ability to distinguish and behave with a good sense of decorum; acting as a brand ambassador at all times // Please send resumes to: [email protected]
