Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Director of Events will support the conception, creation and execution of memorable event experiences for both the industry and fans that reflect and evolve the Vevo brand. Events Management: - Develop Vevo consumer events strategy, assess appropriate partners and placements - Manage execution of on-going event schedule ranging in size and scope - Help to clearly define and strive to achieve goals and objectives ensuring that key messaging is clearly communicated at each event - Oversee production and execution of events and related deliverables (invitations, guest list, signage, décor, swag, experience, gifting, etc) - Collaborate with Content & Programming, Commercial Marketing, Creative Services and PR teams - Manage venue and vendor relationships - maintain ongoing list of vendors and venues, negotiate rates, review contracts, confirm deliverables - Lead pre-event planning, routine status meetings, ensure ongoing communication, prepare run of show and lead post-event recap meetings for internal teams - Refine process for events to ensure seamless execution, timeliness and communication - Serve as Vevo primary point of contact on site (otherwise known as the one who can answer all questions) - Manage budgets and teams (internal and external) for flawless event execution - Ability to create an atmosphere that delivers memorable experiences and exceeds guest expectations for all attendees including consumers, clients, partners and talent.
