America’s premier artisan brewer is looking for an exceptional Events Manager who loves good beer, good people and wants to craft a career pursuing their passion. We need someone with great business development skills and solid negotiation skills who can grow with us by demonstrating a high capacity to learn and take on new challenges. Beer industry experience is not necessary, but a passion for beer, people and events is a must.
** Please note: This is NOT an event planner position. There is no on-site coordination or party planning element in this role. **
The Events Manager will be responsible for defining and managing Sierra Nevada’s involvement in music festivals, sport events, beer festivals, community events, and other sponsorship activities in the South West, with an emphasis on Southern California. An important aspect of the job is to maintain close communication with the local sales team on marketing activities in their area and build relationships with distributors, event producers, etc. When out in the field, you will interact with event goers and represent the Sierra Nevada brand. You will also be responsible for seeking out new events in the Southern California area for Sierra Nevada to be involved in.
