The Global Sponsorship team at EMC manages a multi-million dollar portfolio of annual sponsorship spend, with leading sports teams, event venues, and athletes. The team ensures that EMC achieves maximum business development, hospitality, and branding benefits from these sponsorship relationships. The group works closely with EMC senior executives and stakeholders across sales and marketing and many other functional teams. This role will focus on our East coast sponsorship assets. This position will be based in Hopkinton, MA.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages day-to-day relationships with sponsorship partners (e.g. Boston Red Sox)
Drives strategy for hospitality events: objective setting, attendee prioritization, outreach and selection
Ensures flawless execution of hospitality events, working across EMC sales, marketing and executive teams
Manages contracts with sponsorship partners to ensure benefits are fully utilized
Drives operational inefficiencies, best practices and other improvement initiatives across the sponsorship portfolio
Interfaces and collaborates cross-functionally to maintain communication among business groups
May oversee the work of vendors and cross-functional project teams
Performs other duties as required
