The VP of Branded Entertainment will work with the Content Development and Integrated Marketing teams to produce long and short for branded content offerings for our blue chip advertising partnerships across all Comedy Central screens (TV, Digital & Social). This role will work closely with our development teams to ensure all branded content is on par with Comedy Central’s programming; can seamlessly integrate partners; and is able to drive earned media engagement with fans via social media and YouTube.
Responsibilities
Proactively develop branded content opportunities for our top advertising partners that align with the voice and brand of Comedy Central. Content will consist of branded episodic content, one-off specials, short form content and social content organic to respective social platforms
Solicit and develop multi-screen branded entertainment series from 3rd party production companies for acquisition, integration and distribution across all Comedy Central’s screens
Oversee the production of all branded long and short form branded content offerings
Work with Integrated Marketing to develop long and short form content opportunities in response to RFPs tied to the Upfront and Scatter Marketplaces
Develop video based content for TV & Digital Develop organic content for social activations with brands (e.g. Tumblr, Twitter, SnapChat & Facebook)
Work with Comedy Central Original Programming & Development team to create and produce additional short form show content
Basic Qualifications
7+ years’ experience in Development and production experience
Experience producing content for blue chip advertisers
Relationships and experience working with 3rd party production companies, ad agencies and clients
Additional Qualifications
Strong working knowledge of social media for the distribution of branded content and the ability to develop content specifically for these platforms
Track record of developing best in class branded entertainment content
