The Manager of Integrated Marketing & Promotions (Sponsorship Sales & Activation) will deliver imaginative, groundbreaking programs for advertisers across Turner Sports properties (NBA on TNT, NBATV, TNT, MLB on TBS, Golf on TNT and digital properties). This position helps generate revenue through innovative partnerships, relationship building, collaboration, and a consultative approach to meeting the needs of our partners. The primary focus of this position is the development of linear promotions - however this position will also work in collaboration with linear & digital counterparts to build integrated programs. Responsibilities include:
Develop creative promotional opportunities and proposals that strategically support key advertiser objectives throughout the Upfront, Calendar and Scatter Markets. Own process from brainstorm/ideation through approvals, to overall promotional pitch writing & presentation
Support new business development - we need to secure new advertisers every year and as this person will be key in platform development they will help the VP with developing custom ideas to take to potential clients.
Aid in the development of wrap-up presentations, case studies and awards submissions as needed
Oversee maintenance and updates of team status documentation to help facilitate workload management and the smooth transition of sold promotions from Development to Execution
Bachelor's Degree required
Minimum 5-7 years directly related marketing/advertising/media experience
Demonstrated ability in the area of client service
Creative thinker - knowledge of multiple platforms
Agency and client relationships
Demonstrated negotiation skills
Good communication skills - written and verbal, understanding of sports landscape, some sales acumen and knowledge of pitching a client, good presentation skills - written and verbal, comfortable knowledge of marketing and media vehicles and language
Experience working in Marketing at a large, multi-dimensional company across multiple brands
Strong ability to demonstrate leadership both internally and externally
Ability to effectively manage complex relationships with a variety of internal/external counterparts
Must thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment
Strong work ethic and organizational skills must be detail oriented
Managerial agility and ability to flex work style and prioritize projects
Expertise in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
