Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (“FMIC”), which includes legendary music brands such as Fender®, Gretsch®, Jackson®, EVH® and Squier® is looking for an Artist Relations (“AR”) Manager to be based in Nashville, TN. You will support the growth of Artist Relations in country music, Americana, rock and pop, with both emerging and established artists and industry. You will also be responsible for handling all Nashville and Midwest/Southern based Artist Relations strategic initiatives and activities.


With this role, success is going to be predicated on your ability to demonstrate a very strong sense of motivation, be a self-starter who is able to work at a very fast pace, manage multiple projects, and have strong organizational and leadership skills. Additionally, you really need to be a dynamic team player who has extensive experience in music products and/or the recording music industry. Your day-to-day objectives will include, but not be limited to, developing and maintaining artist relationships to align with FMIC marketing efforts, including generating Artist related marketing collateral (pictures & video); aligning social media content opportunities and production, showroom inventory management, artist and product placement loans, and Interfacing with key touring and backline companies to coordinate artist support.


Highlights of Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute Artist Relations strategy and related activities for Nashville-based artists and industry.
  • Partner with Marketing and AR personal, providing strategic guidance for on the ground activities and local market growth.
  • Assist in developing innovative programs that leverage the Fender Artist showroom in Nashville.
  • Work closely with record labels, managers, agents, etc. to grow the marketing visibility and co-marketing potential of Fender artists and properties (Fender.com, social media and original content).
  • Generate content and business relationships that contribute to other areas of company growth (media exposure, web traffic, consumer data, etc).
  • Mange high-level planning and negotiation of any artist related events, collaborations and/or sponsorship agreements.


    Required Skills

  • Minimum 10 years of music/entertainment industry experience
  • Proven track record of successfully collaborating with high profile music artists/celebrities, managers and agents.
  • Musical instruments background a plus, with some level of proficiency on guitar or bass
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated capability to develop, implement, and execute strategies that align with company marketing efforts
