The Senior Manager is responsible for executing the strategy and tactics for key customer engagement and Dolby experiences across all business groups that drives business objectives and enhances customer and partner alliances. They oversee multiple functions including the Executive Briefing Center experience at 1275, Dolby Experience Lobby activations and assigned Tier 1 events.


Executive Briefing Center:

  • Liaison with senior business group and sales leadership on business objectives, content and scripting for approximately 150-200 Tier 1 demos annually.
  • Oversee preparation and execution of all technology demonstrations in partnership with Sr. Production/AV Manager.
  • Develop and oversee A-Z Tier 1 customer experience including 1275 journey and insure global consistency in story and experiences. Drive key stakeholders team including BCM team members, Field Marketing, Security, PR, Community Outreach, EA’s to insure seamless planning and execution.
  • Oversight of Tier 1 customer scheduling and operational processes and execution including identifying and assigning presenters, executive hosts, data collection and reporting.
  • Develop and oversee a self service process and platform for non-Tier 1 customer demo’s and meetings.


    Dolby Experiences:

  • In partnership with Director of Curation, oversee implementation, operations and execution of key 1275 Dolby Experiences including Lobby activation and installations.
  • Develop annual activation calendar, identify key milestones, roles, responsibilities.
  • Drive key stakeholders team including Community Outreach, Security, and PR to insure an integrated and secure experience for all 1275 visitors.
  • Work with Community Outreach to engage and integrate cultural, civic, and education organizations.
  • Primary liaison, in conjunction with BCM and Comms/PR for all touch points in 1275 Lobby to insure an integrated strategy and execution plan including the Digital Ribbon, Lighting, Sound, Displays, and Signage/Banners.
  • Partner with the Technical Manager for technology acquisition, testing, and installation.
  • Develop and implement all operational objectives and program elements.
  • Responsible for Annual Activation Budget of XXXX

    This is a hands-on position, requiring both big picture perspective and roll-up-your sleeves capabilities, working on a variety of internal and external programs. The successful candidate must have:


  • Excellent program management and cross functional/cross team management
  • An attitude/preference and ability for collaborating with senior leadership
  • An ability to lead and influence without direct management / reporting line responsibility of cross functional managers
  • An ability to conceptualize experiences that are congruent with our brand
  • Ability to articulate the Dolby vision and how our technologies fit together
  • Budget and program management experience
  • Self-motivation, confidence and enthusiasm.


    Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of Dolby’s corporate strategy, history, current technology and future brand vision.
  • Solid technical familiarity with all relevant product categories and devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, home theater, etc.
  • 5-7+ years of global experience producing high quality experiences for technically focused C-Level customer/partner base.
  • Creative problem-solver with ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Substantial budget management experience, including fiscal responsibility for very large budgets coming in on target.
  • Ability to travel 10-30% to facilitate local, domestic and international events and training sessions, as required
  • Bachelor degree in marketing or a related field.
