We’re seeking an exceptional leader to build Ticketfly's emerging sponsorship business. With a massive entertainment-loving audience, Ticketfly’s sponsorship advertising program will allow brands to reach engaged music fans where they’re spending their dollars.
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Senior Manager of Sponsorship Advertising will be responsible for developing creative sponsorship programs, building brand partnerships, and scaling the business to meet growth objectives. For this high-impact role, we need a proven leader with a passion for building new businesses and experience creating value for audiences and brands. Read: We’re not looking for more banner ads. You will have had success developing relationships with external partners and building teams to support rapid growth. You don’t have to be a night owl, but you should enjoy live events and be excited about creating incredible value for brands and fans.
Build and manage the sponsorship advertising P&L, setting aggressive goals for launch, growth and product development
Develop a plan for enabling ad inventory and creating advertising packages, including digital and email ad placements, direct-to-home advertising, and on-site activations at live events.
Build and manage ad sales capabilities, including goal-setting, sales enablement, and reporting. Develop process and guidelines for deal approval
Manage ad operations to deliver on advertiser commitments, implement A/B tests on new ad placements, and provide reporting needed for Ticketfly, client partners and advertisers
Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement advertising standards, practices and technologies across the Ticketfly network
Perform extensive analysis on the Ticketfly audience to inform new advertising opportunities, including audience segmentation and behavior analysis
We’ll Count On You To
What You Should Have Under Your Belt
8+ years of significant leadership experience in digital media, advertising and/or ad sales
Well established contacts with both brand advertisers and advertising agencies
Expertise in strategic planning and execution of long-range plans
Advanced analytical skills, including financial modeling, performance analysis and overall data fluency
Experience working with advertising tools and technology (e.g. Comscore, DoubleClick, Jivox, etc)
Proven track record of building and managing great partnerships
Superior organization and time management skills to execute complex projects with tight deadlines
A strong affinity for live events
MBA and/or equivalent experience is a plus
