This senior-level sponsorship sales professional will work with team management and the Director of Marketing to generate sponsorship revenue for the BMC Racing Team, a professional cycling team with guaranteed future participations in the Tour de France and other major events in countries around the globe. This position involves developing non-endemic sponsorship leads, designing sponsorship packages, and negotiating and closing multi-year deals. The objective of this position is to recruit new business to replace >50% of current eight-figure (USD) sponsorship income by 2016 and 80% by 2017. Successful candidate will be expected to establish face-to-face meetings with target decision makers within first three months of hire.
