Required Skills

  • A senior level marketing event manager with proven ability to conceptualize and drive sports marketing and executive marketing programs. 10+ years event experience
  • Hands-on experience developing and executing a range of sports marketing programs ie, Super Bowl, Kentucky Derby, Final Four, Grand Slam Tennis Tournaments, Masters and similar events.
  • Solid understanding of overall event management
  • Strong analytical budgeting skills
  • Seasoned leader with strong leadership, committed team player, a creative communicator and presenter
  • Ability to establish rapport with individuals and groups at all organization levels, including C-level
  • Experience in analyzing and optimizing event program performance to improve maximally return on investment
  • Managing the request process of sponsorship opportunities and ensuring effective responses to all inquiries
  • Highly motivated, event and sports enthusiast
  • Able to operate independently on various tasks and projects.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and communication skills and solid project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with flexibility, high energy, patience and enthusiastic
  • Strong project management and organization skills
  • Develop and deliver internal and external communication strategies for programs

  • Energetic and capable of working for long hours. Exhibit enormous amounts of patience and flexibility if the situation demands. Detailed Description and Job Requirements


    Development of communication programs to promote Oracle's products and services.


    Evaluates and manages new strategic business opportunities, initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances and/or joint ventures. Oversees market analysis, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Provides leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business objectives. Defines vision, strategies, and tactics. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.


    Primarily a resource/ allocation role, coordinating the daily activities of a work group and setting priorities to ensure task completion. Supervises within prescribed procedures with management review and approval. Maintains orderly work processes by coordinating work flow and work quality. Provides technical/functional leadership, as well as first line supervision, but does not have hire/fire authority. Uses individual knowledge and skills to develop team members.
