The Manager, Partnerships & Sponsorships position is responsible for the development and management of new and existing partnerships programs at Wyndham Hotel Group.


Critical to the success of the role is supporting the identification, development and implementation of partnerships (and sponsorships) to meet our goal of delivering brand enhancing partnerships and new customer experiences - and create exciting activation opportunities across our loyalty program and brands.


The role is also responsible for managing and leveraging existing programs including strategic partners within our loyalty program, Wyndham Rewards. In addition, the role will collaborate with our regional teams around the world and with other Wyndham Worldwide businesses on partner activity. The successful candidate will work with central functions such as marketing, operations and service teams to collaborate on the smooth running and expansion of partner and sponsor activity.


Responsibilities

  • Identify innovative, brand enhancing partnership and sponsorship opportunities for Wyndham Rewards
  • Manage new partnerships from ideation to contract negotiation and activation achieving measurable results
  • Manage day to day key relationships and identify ways to grow, optimize and expand existing partnerships
  • Support and collaborate with international teams on partner development opportunities, partner strategy, and tactical activity including campaign design and implementation
  • Manage marketing and loyalty points budgets and revenue/invoice tracking across all partnerships (excl. Credit Cards)
  • Lead requirements for performance data and metric tracking
  • Ensure agreements are maintained, updated and managed through timely renegotiation and renewal process


    Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years consumer marketing experience, loyalty experience a plus
  • Partner or sponsor management experience
  • Budget management experience
  • Experience and understanding of working in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent PC computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Marketing creativity & passion for the customer
  • Strong external relationship management skills
  • Good business acumen and process/project coordination skills
  • Negotiating skills and ability to affect change within the organization
  • Professional verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability; handles day-to-day challenges confidently and willing to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
