Individual is responsible to assist the Sr. Manager of National Sponsorships and the Manager of National Sponsorships with the development, coordination and timely implementation of sponsorships on behalf of the Constellation Brands Beer Division portfolio.


SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Assist with planning, organizing and overseeing the logistical tasks surrounding sponsorships that will align event goals against brand objectives. Maximize on-site brand awareness and sales and provide tools to leverage sponsorships in trade environment.


2. Assist with monitoring the timely coordination and evaluation of respective programming to ensure that objectives have been met.


3. Assist in coordination and provide direction to our key strategic partners and agencies; creative development of promotional graphics; agency services; production and allocation of promotional materials to support programming.


4. Work closely with Field Marketing, Field Sales and Distributor teams with the objective to maximize brand awareness, sales opportunities and return on investment consistent with Company goals and objectives.


5. Coordinate on-site activity associated with value added components of sponsorships. This may include artist or team appearances in addition to on- and off-premise promotional programming.


6. Assist the Sr. Manager of National Sponsorships and Manager of National Sponsorships with interdepartmental communication; sponsorship communication decks, execution plans and post-evaluation analysis.


7. Work closely with Field Sales, Field Marketing and key Distributors to evaluate and report effectiveness of sponsorships via the analysis of sales impact, Distributor execution and profitability/return on investment of the marketing expenditures.


8. Assists with developing presentations for internal and external meetings.


9. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as determined by management.


REPORTING RELATIONSHIP


Reports directly to the Sr. Manager of National Sponsorships


Required Skills

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED


1. A Bachelor’s degree is required with an emphasis in marketing or related field preferred.


2. A minimum of 3 years progressive experience in Sponsorships, Promotional Marketing or Agency capacities working with a CPG organization, preferably in the beverage alcohol industry, is required in order to understand the job function, marketing, sales needs, and the three-tier distribution system.


3. Highly developed interpersonal skills are necessary. Exceptional verbal and written communication/presentation skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.


4. Must have excellent customer service skills with the ability to work with both internal and external customers. Must be able to work independently, identify opportunities and recommend viable solutions to problems and issues.


5. Must have a high degree of proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Must be comfortable working with personal computers and be able to adapt to additional software programs for marketing/creative design.


6. Must possess a confident, pro-active, creative, and collaborative style that assimilates well within a team environment.


7. Works well in a fast-paced, action-oriented team where priorities change and time frames are critical.


8. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not mandatory.


9. Must have strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload. Must be detail and results orientated.


10. Highest degree of ethics and professional conduct.


11. The ability and willingness to travel approximately 50 % of the time.


12. The ability and willingness to work unorthodox hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
