The Sponsorships Manager is responsible for managing and executing MetroPCS sponsorship capabilities and programs. The individual will develop, implement and measure unique, solution driven sponsorships that support key brand marketing and business initiatives.

Responsibilities Essential Functions:

  • Support the marketing sponsorship process including planning, development, execution, and communication of selected sponsorships, including UFC and select media sponsorships.
  • Ensure that the roll out and execution of strategies deliver successful brand and business objectives
  • Assist with the development of world class integrated activation platforms for sponsorships that help meet brand and business objectives
  • Help manage field sponsorships by ensuring they are built based upon sound business rationale, consumer insights, and other business information
  • Work cross functionally on program development, execution and manage ongoing partner/agency relationships while managing the sponsorship budget
  • Partner with market research and agencies to provide research and consumer insight on events and properties that align with the MetroPCS target segment


    Required Skills

  • 5+ years of marketing experience
  • Minimum of 2-4 years experience with assisting in the development and execution of sponsorships
  • Experience with asset management with the ability to assist in the management of the development of core brand assets
  • Experience in managing agency partners

    Desired:

  • Experience in competitive analysis, advertising or sponsorship
  • Bachelors Degree or higher in communications, marketing, business or a related field
  • Bilingual preferred


    Up to 15% travel required
