The Manager is the leader in the development of annual and seasonal brand activation platforms for the US and Canada markets. Reporting to the Director of Integrated Marketing, the candidate will support all Gap brands (Gap, GapKids, babyGap, GapFit, and GapBody).


This individual will be responsible for creating meaningful consumer experiences in the following areas:

  • Partnerships
  • Event activation / Traffic driving initiatives
  • Influencer programs
  • Sponsorships
  • Stunt marketing
  • Contests & Sweepstakes


    Manager will also be a point of contact for internal partners, as well as manage experiential agency. Partner closely with Brand Engagement, Digital/Social, Media, PR, and Field teams.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of annual and seasonal consumer activation platforms that support North America marketing campaigns and promotional efforts
  • Identify, ideate, and create successful partnerships and collaborations with complementary brands, emerging technologies, organizations, celebrities, and artists
  • Manage experiential agency to ensure they are developing and executing activations that deliver against marketing objectives while staying on-budget and on-time
  • Follows trends and innovation within cultural space for planning consideration
  • Find and experiment with new methods to drive store traffic and new customer acquisition
  • Be an active force in brainstorming new, innovative ideas for potential partnerships and various experiential initiatives
  • Responsible for measuring/recapping performance to determine ROI
  • Collaborate with PR and Digital/Social teams to extend activations beyond physical environments; ensure we are driving buzz in a big way
  • Educate and partner with Field teams on best in class activations and executions for store success


    Required Skills

  • 5-7 years experience in brand partnerships, event activation, and experiential programs
  • Agency or media/ entertainment company experience preferred
  • Background developing and managing partnership initiatives within music, film, branded entertainment, publishing, etc
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and project management skills
  • Experience creating and executing complex events with multiple partners and vendors
  • Digitally connected and curious
  • A passion for culture (Music, Fashion, Entertainment, Sports, etc.) and what current trends influence consumer behavior
  • Bachelors degree required
