Your opportunity at QuickBase:


We are seeking a seasoned Event Marketing Manager, who is driven to make QuickBase the go-to brand for pioneers of digital transformation in the workplace. Leveraging their skills in experiential marketing, the candidate will build and grow an events program to acquire and nurture net new leads with precision, efficiency and creative flair. Overseeing both small-scale and higher-visibility events, from conception to execution, the Event Marketing Manager will align acquisition-focused events with QuickBase’s overarching marketing strategy and the business goals of the Demand Marketing team.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and pilot a creative event strategy to generate new leads and nurture them down the buyer’s funnel, clearly defining goals and success metrics, timelines, budget, and core dependencies
  • Create (or work with internal and external partners to create) marketing plans, presentations, executive communications, and other collateral to support lead acquisition focused events
  • Manage contractors, vendors, production schedules, and budgets associated with event execution
  • Articulate a vision and build a business case to scale QuickBase’s lead acquisition events program
  • Monitor performance of executed events, making contingency plans where necessary to meet goals
  • Follow and find ways to test the latest trends and technologies in offline and online event marketing
  • Work closely with Sales, Product, Public Relations, Analyst Relations, and Executive Management to ensure that lead acquisition events are fully integrated across other Marketing vehicles


    Required Skills

  • Proven track record of executing successful, polished events that are on-time and on-budget
  • Exceptional oral and written communicator, who can inspire and lead partners to bring a vision to life
  • Willingness to travel (30+%) and work independently and autonomously
  • Effective negotiation skills backed with examples of finding ways to do more with less
  • Forward-thinking attitude and ability to effectively solve unforeseen situations as they arise
  • Logistics-oriented mindset and an innate attention to detail


    Other requirements

  • 6-8 years of marketing experience, with a minimum of 4 years in a B2B event marketing role
  • Experience in marketing B2B technology products or services
  • BA required, MBA preferred
