Reporting directly to the Director of Brand Communications, this key member of the North American marketing team helps to drive the brand marketing strategy and planning process for seasonal stories and overarching brand campaigns. You work daily with our agency partners and cross-functional and global counterparts to make sure North America is delivering on our marketing tenets and contributing to our Always On product and content calendars. Your main focus is on media – planning, buying, executing – but you are the conduit to the larger team and have a holistic overview and understanding at all times.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Help to drive development of strategic brand marketing programs for North America that support the key regional initiatives and are regional adaptations of the global brand communications specific to creative and media.
  • Responsible for flawless execution through close partnership with Brand Communications (including entertainment, social, music teams) & Brand Design and key agency partners.
  • Contributing to the overarching Always On calendar for content generation and product, managing the North American role and specific project list to ensure calendar is closely followed.
  • Manage day-to-day agency relationships (media, creative, digital)
  • Provide cross-functional NA POV in seasonal segment creative development, aligning on regional goals with cross-function partners to ensure a deep level of integration.
  • Marketing conduit to Consumer Insights to interpret Market Intelligence & consumer reports into action plans that optimize marketing programs.
  • Communicate insights to key marketing partners in an effort to better inform all program development
  • Work directly with agency partners to interpret data communicating insights to NA Marketing team where applicable
  • Manage DCI and budget tracker and continuously work to optimize processes to ensure programs are executed on time, on budget.
  • Be aware of programs like Blank Canvas and Rubber Tracks, informed of strategy and goals, adding media support and expertise
  • Constantly capture, analyze, compile and circulate information across the region ensuring there is visibility of seasonal plans & seasonal KPI’s are tracked.


    Required Skills

  • 5+ years experience in marketing and communications for a global brand or media/agency network (youth culture, fashion, retail or lifestyle editorial preferred).
  • Budget management expertise and campaign execution know-how from start to finish (strategy, media plans, execution, reporting)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to successfully package and present ideas and recommendations.
  • Ability to manage creative and marketing talent and build productive relationships with our internal and agency partners
  • Strong multi-tasker with good sense of humor
