You will:

  • Organize and execute programming elements for large-scale sponsors and exhibitors at the premier culinary event in the country, the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, including pre-event negotiations, coordination and onsite management
  • As part of Food & Wine marketing team, research, create, propose and fulfill effective merchandising programs for advertisers across several magazine event platforms
  • Collaborate with art department, digital department and sales staff to create proposals, recaps and custom opportunities for advertisers
  • Accompany sales staff on calls to current and potential clients to represent the F&W Marketing department and speak knowledgeably about our marketing assets
  • Produce promotional materials for the Classic in Aspen including sell sheets, advertising campaign, sponsor communications, registration resources and the Event Program
  • Manage budget with goal to raise revenue year over year and maintain concise database for the F&W Classic in Aspen


    Required Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of event experience
  • Knowledge of epicurean category and interest in food and wine
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to juggle many projects at once
  • Exceptional attention to detail and deadlines
  • A great attitude and the willingness to be a team player
