You will:
Organize and execute programming elements for large-scale sponsors and exhibitors at the premier culinary event in the country, the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, including pre-event negotiations, coordination and onsite management
As part of Food & Wine marketing team, research, create, propose and fulfill effective merchandising programs for advertisers across several magazine event platforms
Collaborate with art department, digital department and sales staff to create proposals, recaps and custom opportunities for advertisers
Accompany sales staff on calls to current and potential clients to represent the F&W Marketing department and speak knowledgeably about our marketing assets
Produce promotional materials for the Classic in Aspen including sell sheets, advertising campaign, sponsor communications, registration resources and the Event Program
Manage budget with goal to raise revenue year over year and maintain concise database for the F&W Classic in Aspen
Minimum 5 years of event experience
Knowledge of epicurean category and interest in food and wine
Strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to juggle many projects at once
Exceptional attention to detail and deadlines
A great attitude and the willingness to be a team player
