The Manager of Acquisition Marketing (Sales Support &Sponsorships/Events) will be responsible for managing the day-to-day strategy and creative development for key programs including sales collateral/presentations, sponsorships, and tradeshows/events) to generate leads and drive sales opportunities across marketing channels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute lead generation strategies and plans to create new marketing opportunities for residential and business prospects/customers.
Lead development of business and residential sales support collateral and tools, as well as presentations for key audience segments including SMB, Large Business and Residential Customer targets
Build and execute against the TXU Energy Business Insights platform, a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to TXU Energy (including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies/testimonials, social media, etc.).
Collaborate with internal teams and external influencers to produce relevant content that meets the needs of key stakeholders and audiences by providing regular, helpful content that’s aligned with their needs and interests.
Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels
Manage key sponsorship/partner relationships (promotions, activations, branding) to drive brand awareness and meet new customer acquisition goals.
Identify, negotiate and select sponsorship partners ensuring that they align with the TXU Energy brand and sponsorship strategy.
Effectively lead the negotiation of contracts with Sponsorship partners and channel co-marketing partners to ensure that contracts promote sales maximization, mitigate potential risks, are financially attractive and are legally-compliant.
Manage, evaluate and process ad hoc sponsorship requests and maintain dispensation report.
Manage the creative concept development and activation of sponsorships including all elements of advertising and marketing materials to ensure that they are on-brand and align with quarterly marketing campaign messages.
Working with online team, maintain Sponsorship Web pages to ensure consistency of messaging, as well as delivery of accurate and timely information to maximize co-marketing opportunities
Work closely with Market Research/Insights and Brand teams to develop key selling messages and maintaining legal and regulatory compliant selling claims that support brand communications and marketing strategies.
Develop acquisition goals and sales forecasts based on current and historical performance data as well as tracking campaign results through ongoing weekly performance updates.
Drive increased business telemarketing, online and targeted sales conversions through coordinated process improvements with sales channels.
Effectively lead the initiation of projects with agencies/print vendors to ensure that marketing efforts promote sales maximization, mitigate potential risks, are financially attractive and are legally compliant.
Oversee overall campaign performance to include a summary of performance versus goal on key metrics (ex. Gains, Conversion Rates, CPA, ROI).
Other responsibilities include interfacing with cross-function support teams throughout the organization, as well as managing overall business acquisition marketing budget.
This position provides leadership to acquisition sales support and sponsorship/partnership team of (2) direct reports to ensure a positive work environment, good employee relations, and adherence to current Company and Customer Operations systems, policies, procedures, and regulations.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
The minimum education requirements are:
Bachelors Degree in a related field strongly perferred
The minimum experience requirements are:
5+ years significant previous professional experience in marketing or agency
2+ years experience managing/supervising teams of production/professional employees
Knowledge of the electricity industry and/or competitive retail markets
Strong analytical, creative or sales work background
7+ years professional (exempt) level work experience
Demonstrated track record of increased work responsibility
SCOPE LEVEL
Supervisory Responsibility: Direct responsibility for a group of seasoned specialists responsible for acquisition marketing
Manages team of professional staff (exempt)
Budgetary responsibility for acquisition marketing
