Six Flags is seeking a highly-connected media sales candidate who thrives on energy, ambition, and success to sell Six Flags In-Park media assets including Out-of-Home signage, Six Flags Television and full digital network, Event Sponsorship and other assets. In this role, your primary responsibility is selling our media inventory to advertising agencies and national advertising clients, based in the New York City and East Coast territory. Will actively manage current accounts to maximize renewal rates and enhance and expand contribution of existing clients.
Primary Responsibilities & Duties:
Generate new business
Manage current client renewal efforts to maximize return and expand programs
Identifying prospects for Six Flags Media Networks inventory and multi-park special events (Concerts, events, etc.)
Create, write and design customized advertising and partnership platforms
Provide valuation models and impression reports to assist in sponsorship acquisition
Manage client through sales process from introduction to contract execution
Coordinate with Six Flags execution team for proper fulfillment of all programs
Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in outdoor media and/or sponsorship sales in the New York City area.
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field.
Functional experience and/or knowledge will include:
Specific advertising sales and marketing insight and expertise.
Knowledge and ability to read and understand entertainment and licensing legal contracts
Expertise at development of a fully integrated marketing program.
Critical Skills:
Cognizant of advertising and sponsorship spending trends across all categories
Able to identify and exploit emerging trends and technologies
Must be a leader and team player; ability to provide clear and concise direction/feedback to management.
Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; MSFT Powerpoint a must.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
