Studios Theatrical Marketing is searching for a VP, Marketing Partnerships to develop the vision and execute on an integrated marketing partnership strategy for Disney’s theatrical film business. This role will have responsibility for marketing partnerships across all Disney branded film campaigns to ensure campaign success for Lucasfilm, Marvel Studios, Disney Animation, Pixar, Disney Live Action and Disney Nature. This leader will have oversight for developing and cultivating relationships across multiple verticals; consumer products, automotive, electronics and others, to maximize the reach of the campaign leading up to the film release and throughout the in home window.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, identification and development of strategic marketing partnerships.
  • Responsible for defining and achieving key performance indicators for the entire sales team.
  • Research, prospect and establish leads for lucrative new brand alignment deals.
  • Work closely with Brand, Finance, and Operational VP and team to structure global deals.
  • Maximize yield in all major segments through the sale of fully integrated partnerships.
  • Manage expense budgets related to the implementation and execution of partnership agreements.
  • Lead and mentor sales team (including direct and indirect reports) by establishing clear roles and responsibilities and providing regular feedback and guidance on departmental short and long term vision.
  • Must prepare and circulate regular performance reports.
  • Work closely with other departments within the organization on corporate partner related programs including operations, community relations, public relations, sales, marketing, and finance.
  • Lead a team of five direct reports while managing multiple agency partnerships.


    Required Skills

  • Over 10 years of experience managing integrated brand partnerships
  • Must be creative, detail oriented, possess a strong work ethic, be willing to learn and have a burning desire to succeed.
  • Must possess superior negotiation skills coupled with a net profit bottom line mentality.
  • Persuasive, confident networker and deal maker with a track record of success in growing new markets and partnerships
  • Self-motivated team player with a proven ability to work with aggressive individual and team sales goals.
  • Superior knowledge regarding the practices and principles related to the sale and implementation of corporate partnership.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with corporate clients and co-workers.
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
  • Solutions oriented, problem solving mentality a must.
