**This Project is approximately 18 months**


The Project Manager of Sponsorship Activations will coordinate day-to-day logistics of sponsored event activations, w/ specific focus on the management of an experiential marketing tour and oversight of its weekly onsite activation. The Project Manager will work directly with ESPN’s Customer Marketing & Sales team to conceptualize marketing solutions and multi-media fan experiences that generate additional revenue. Our ideal candidate will communicate regularly w/ various other internal departments such as Sales, Production, Audio, Travel, as well as external agency partners, to successfully implement sponsor initiatives into events and help execute activations. Project Manager will have project oversight of the Heisman House Tour and Special Projects, as assigned to included, but not limited to CFP, XGames and ESPYS.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain specific event budgets and track weekly expenditures for Tour
  • Coordinate approvals for all branded materials and onsite collateral Process invoices and track money spent through SAP
  • Coordinate hotel rooming lists and event guest lists
  • Order/distribute branded merchandise and client gifts
  • Manage shipping and receiving of event related collateral/premiums
  • Oversee individual event wrap-ups and other post event elements


    Required Skills

    Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years combined experience in event and multi-media marketing w/ a focus on sponsorship activation for a world class brand
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • 30-35% Travel required

  • Strategic and creative thinker with a proactive approach to accessing needs and planning ahead
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage several time-sensitive projects simultaneously
  • Superior communication skills for frequent internal and external discussion and project management
  • Desire to build relationships and encourage teamwork


    Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree
