  • Elevate consumer brand image and consumer perception of Calvin Klein as leading lifestyle brand and marketing innovator through the execution of strategic experiential platforms that tie the brand to culture.
  • Manage a team of professionals while ensuring maximum efficiency cross functionally and delivering against marketing objectives.
  • Manage vendor relationships and leverage against those relationships to secure preferential pricing and ensure delivery of budgets on target.
  • Select talent and creative resources appropriate to individual project goals, supporting the development of innovative programs by identifying the most appropriate team and utilization of resources.


    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Act as point of contact for all assigned projects, leading day-to-day management and optimization of workflow.
  • Participate in meetings on creative development to identify project timelines and assign resources to fulfill project objectives.
  • Manage workflow procedures, quality control, and all staffing plan in order to handle high paced and complex project timelines in tandem with department head.
  • Develop project briefs to guide production flow, ensuring projects meet set business objectives in a timely and streamlined manner.
  • Have thorough understanding of cross functional team roles in projects and the processes by which work is created and success is measured.
  • Work with brand experience team to facilitate cross-discipline and cross-partner collaboration, propose solutions to overcome challenges and ultimately deliver concepts against budget parameters.
  • Keep track of all assigned jobs providing an accurate and constant gauge of department capacity, efficiency and accuracy.
  • Strong understanding of brand standards to ensure all project deliverables stay “on brand.”

    Internal: Marketing, Creative, Integrated Production, Channel Management, Fashion Office, Public Relations, Legal, CKI International Offices, Finance, Design, Visual Merchandising, Store Planning, O/O CKI Business Units


    External: Agency Partners, Vendors and Licensees


    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Direct: 1 Manager, 2 Senior Coordinators


    Indirect: 1 Executive Assistant


    BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver individual project budgets against parameters set by department head, identifying efficiencies and opportunities to leverage key relationships to secure preferential pricing. Obtain, record and track all invoicing as it relates to individual projects with regular reporting to department head.


    DECISION MAKING: Will have to make decisions around: day-to-day management and optimization of assigned projects; providing recommendations to solve points of frustration; and driving continual efforts to maintain project flow/delivery without sacrificing the work.


    RESOURCEFULNESS/CREATIVITY: It will be necessary that the candidate be able to make decisions quickly, innovate and create new processes when warranted.


    ENVIRONMENT: The environment is extremely fast-paced and deadline driven.


    Required Skills

    Experience:

  • 8+ Years of experience in experiential or special events production


    Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field or equivalent experience
