We're looking for an Events Specialist to continue the momentum we’re building surrounding our flagship brands including Match, OkCupid, Tinder, and our 25+ portfolio of brand


We are looking to add a key team member to our national sales team who will focus on selling sponsorships for our events partnerships. This role will report to the Director of Key Accounts and have responsibility for generating event sponsorship (including digital media) revenue from clients and experiential agencies. He/she will be responsible for identifying potential clients, securing meetings, developing sponsorship ideas, and proposing and closing business.


This is an outstanding opportunity for a strong performer with experience in event sponsorship sales to leverage ad agency and client relationships to grow a strategic revenue stream, to contribute to the growth of the offline events component of our business, and to represent an industry-leading brand in the marketplace.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue sponsorship partners for the Match.com brand overall, and for event partnerships
  • Build on existing relationships with event sponsors to drive repeat engagements
  • Engage and strategize with colleagues to develop new and innovative sponsorship products that build an online and offline presence for the partner
  • Develop new relationships with clients and agencies on behalf of our brands
  • Create professional and actionable sales presentations
  • Execute and deliver high-quality responses to RFPs
  • Exceed pricing targets and sales goals


    Required Skills

  • 5+ years' of online media sales and/or event sponsorship sales experience
  • Existing relationships with decision makers at major ad agencies a MUST
  • Proven track record of beating quotas and growing a territory
  • Demonstrated experience in structuring, winning, and managing complex six figure deals
  • Strong references from agency and brand clients
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
