The U.S. Bollé Mobile Event Manager will work with the Bollé Marketing & Sales team with the planning and execution of creative marketing events for the Bushnell Eyewear Division. This position will manage all aspects of retail and consumer brand marketing on the road from a marketing plan put forward through the marketing team. The individual will act as a brand ambassador, representing the company on-site at events and serve as a communication liaison between the marketing department, sales and others within the company. Market locations include: Southwest US, Northeast US, and Southeast US
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the brand’s mobile program supporting relevant winter sports events (ski, snowboarding, etc.), cycling and golf events– familiarity with these industries is a must as strategic planning will be required
Individual should have a strong knowledge base of the brand history, product and its respective technologies, as well as a passion for snow sports, golf and cycling
Manage grassroots marketing efforts including event management (setup, takedown, and program logistics) staffing and training
Responsible for transport of brand vehicle and timely delivery of products, ensuring maximum efficiencies and brand standards are maintained
Manage in-store promotions with store managers and able to influence key decision makers in the retail space
Work one-on-one with the consumer to sell through product during brand activations
Maintain positive business relationships with retailers, consumers and brand athletes in designated markets
Responsible for on-site accounting and post-event reporting
Assist with strategic planning through detailed reports and recommendations of target events/key markets to focus grassroots marketing efforts
Work national trade show booths including Interbike, Outdoor Retailer, and SIA, selling product to buyers
Manage and replenish the vehicle’s inventory, promotional items, etc.
Willing to partner with local market eyewear sales reps at events (including local event planning and activation), communicating event calendar to the field, assist in the preparation and execution of market specific initiatives
Event calendar management, including strategic planning (research and recommendations of new event sponsorship/partnership opportunities on a regional and national level)
Make mobile tour program recommendations on how to optimize brand presence on the road to ensure high visibility
Provide ongoing feedback and communication to eyewear team
Ensure deadlines are set and achieved for events
QUALIFICATIONS
Mobile Event Managers will be located in three desired markets
Organized, detail of daily and weekly events
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to juggle multiple event projects as they become available
Must be able to manage multiple events
Goal-oriented
Must be able to manage budget requirements
Individual must be a self-starter
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma with experience in event marketing
Retail experience in the outdoor and cycling industries preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to write standard business correspondence and prepare organized documentation.
Must be able to interpret and communicate a wide range of directives to associates and outside resources.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret sales and marketing reports and research studies.

Travel will be extensive during December – February for ski season and April – August for cycling events and summer trade shows
