- Responsible for developing and executing experiential marketing programs that drive consumer purchase intent, earned conversation and media coverage, industry support and increased engagement for Nintendo brands:

  • Actively collaborates with Experiential Marketing Director and manager in upfront and ongoing development of proposals for experiential marketing programs
  • Works closely with Consumer Marketing, Consumer Insights, Product Marketing, Licensing and Product Development teams to understand overall marketing priorities, key brand messaging and targeted audiences
  • Collaborates with external agencies and internal teams to identify and develop strategic opportunities and tactics to best promote key Nintendo hardware and software in order to meet specific marketing objectives
  • Presents final experiential opportunities and proposals to senior management for approvals based on strategic approach, projected results and ROI


    - Handles all elements of execution for national experiential events and other special projects, including:

  • Developing creative materials and tactics that deliver proper and impactful use of IP and brand messages
  • Driving intensive collaboration with internal teams, external agencies, and brand partners to ensure-
  • Maximum market impact and exposure are achieved across all marketing teams – retail marketing, advertising, public relations, digital
  • Flawless execution across all operations, logistics, legal, sales administration, staffing, product training, purchasing, fulfillment, digital, etc. aspects of a program
  • Keeping all projects on strategy, on time and on budget


    - Delivers communication to key internal stakeholders on experiential activity

  • During development and execution: develops, maintains and shares experiential marketing program status, recaps and analysis (including budgets, timing, photos, collateral, and other materials for reference)
  • Post program: performs and reports thorough ROI analysis, key learning and results
  • On-Going: Seeks out and shares best in class event practices, new technologies, and industry benchmarks to ensure world class event execution


    - Travel to events (including weekends) to oversee execution and gain insights for current or future programs


    Required Skills

    SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven record of developing and executing successful fully-integrated national live events with significant market and consumer impact while staying on-time and on-budget
  • Strong understanding of promotional and experiential strategies and tactics to ensure feasibility of core ideas and to troubleshoot during execution
  • Strategic and analytical thinker who can evaluate and improve marketing opportunities as they develop
  • Ability to lead initiatives and inspire teams across multiple projects and across remote offices in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment (emphasis on communication and project management skills)
  • Ability to develop thorough internal proposals and present to senior management


    EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration or equivalent experience
