iHeartMedia’s National Programming department has a Sr. National Event Sponsorship Manager position open within the National Entertainment + Events Team. The Sr. National Event Sponsorship Manager is an integral part of this department. Identify and develop event sponsorship opportunities for national iHeartMedia events. Support new and existing client sales and promotional objectives. Develop or create for each client, on-site event sponsorship opportunities that exceed client goals around consumer engagement.

  • Report to SVP, Music & Entertainment Marketing (based out of NYC)
  • Identify and develop event sponsorship opportunities for national iHeartMedia events. Support new and existing client sales and promotional objectives.
  • Develop or create for each client, on-site event sponsorship opportunities that exceed client goals around consumer engagement.
  • Manage experiential vendor relationship for ideation, production and buildout.
  • Ability to develop and manage and maintain a sponsorship inventory system for events.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to create sponsorship opportunities for iHeartMedia national events.
  • Point of contact for clients leading up to and on-site at events.
  • Develop and implement internal communications about events and sponsorship opportunities with sales team.
  • Manage overall event sponsorships on-site at National Programming events.
  • Responsible for working with venues to determine all on-site sponsorship opportunities and restrictions.
  • Responsible for working on-site at all National Programming events.
  • Manage sponsorship activation budgets.
  • Travel to out-of-state and work on iHeartMedia events, B2B conferences, and corporate meetings.


    Required Skills

  • 4 - 5+ years of special events/sponsorship experience, preferably in entertainment
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively develop and execute events
  • Ability to collaborate cross departmentally
  • High work standards and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication with ability to negotiate
  • High degree of stress tolerance and ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and collaboration with others ‘
