As Sr. Sponsorship Manager, you will be responsible for identifying sponsorship opportunities (inbound & outbound) that will brand Shopify as an entrepreneurship company and become the go-to solution for everyone starting a new business. Ideally you have a proven track record in the creation and execution of strategic sponsorships with measurable results and have established new brands within the mass market.
You'll get to do things like:
Build our brand through sponsorship opportunities (immediate and for the long term)
Will be primarily focusing on North America
Outbound - Research and build a pitch to expand sponsorship opportunities into new mass market events
Inbound - managing incoming sponsorship requests and allocating resources
Source opportunities, build the relationship and make sure we are getting the most out of our sponsorship (show results)
Someone with 5+ years experience in sponsorship, advertising, or marketing role
Team lead for a team of 2+ individuals and have a mix of hands-on and lead responsibilities
Someone with experience in US and global sponsorships (preferred)
Someone who has senior experience managing big budgets, community building with sponsored events
Metric driven and understand analytics
Understands impressions and able to measure and judge success
Tech savvy (Hubspot, etc.)
Passionate about entrepreneurship, Shopify, and our merchants
Resourceful
