The Events Marketing Specialist will help drive strategy, planning and implementation of car2go's overall brand experience and event programs both locally and nationally. He/She will also assist the team in improving car2go's brand experience for new and existing members through providing creative and meaningful experiences.


Assist with the development of national and local event roadmaps. Implement events strategy and goals to ensure success across car2go NA. Coordinate event logistics with local brand ambassador teams to ensure organization. Coordinate standard "Look-N-Feel" of set up for events and create new promotional ideas for North America.

  • 35% - Activate and manage sponsorships related to events
  • 5% - Adhere to events budget and make recommendations to Brand Experience Manager for improvement based on results.
  • 5% - Assist the Brand Experience Manager with the development of car2go's brand experience strategy. Coordinate with car2go locations on local implementation of these strategies. Provide data analytics expertise to aid in the analysis of strategy results.
  • 20% - Maintain current knowledge of current promotional item inventory and allocate items efficiently to locations as needed.
  • 20% - Coordination of ambassador teams if needed on set-up, training, hiring, and feedback shared with the marketing team.

    Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred


    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


    Must have 5 - 7 years (total) of experience in the following:

  • Administration - Knowledge of administrative procedures, process/project development, and system procedures.
  • Business - General Knowledge of fundamental business practices and concepts that impact the success and profitability of the organization.
  • Business Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, human resource management and efficiency and process methods.
  • Communications Planning - Knowledge of marketing research sources and data analysis techniques, marketing plan development process, strategic and creative integration techniques, marketing team organization and operational processes.
  • Event Planning - Knowledge of planning events from inception to implementation, including budget preparations.


    The fully trained individual must develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of:
