Experiential Marketing functions as a project manager and manages sponsorships and special events for Honda and Acura. The department also manages dealer incentive contests and travel award programs.


Responsibilities

  • Managing system input, tracking, and reporting of dealer incentive programs.
  • Facilitating all national experiential marketing budget actions.
  • Overseeing implementation of assigned event programs.
  • Working with internal departments and managing external agencies to create engaging displays and activations.
  • Managing tracking for national program budgets, PO generation, budget reconciliation.
  • Independently working with auto incentives on contest parameters; monitoring dealer sales status; providing contest standings twice a week to field staff; creating and distributing reports to field staff with dealer contest status, and overseeing completion of dealer contest audits.
  • Independently run ad hoc marketing projects as assigned by management, supervising distribution of consumer prizing, managing vehicle loan tracking and handling consumer and/or dealer requests as needed.


    Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or equivalent work experience required.
  • 2-5 years of work experience along with 3-5 years of experience in marketing, automotive marketing is a plus.
  • Experience in event planning and logistics required.
  • Ability to work well with a team and coordinate projects across various AHM sales and marketing functions including National Advertising, Regional Marketing, Zone/Field, Public Relations and event service providers.
  • Must be a self-starter and take initiative to move projects forward independently.
  • Strong business writing skills to draft executive-level documents. Ability to travel domestically.
  • Working knowledge of Honda financial tools, including SAP accounting programs and SIMPL for dealer objectives.
  • Budget analysis and ROI skills.
  • Logistics planning and project coordination skills.
  • Consumer and dealer relations skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
