The Sponsorships and Events Specialist provides daily project coordination, field distribution and program support to the Global Brand and Sponsorship group. Sponsorships that may be supported may include, but are not limited to, UPS golf and Formula 1 sponsorships. The Sponsorships and Events Specialist will be responsible for assisting with program planning, post-event reporting and budget reconciliation. He/She provides on-site or office-based supervision for customer and employee events and programs as needed.


Other Duties

  • Works as the primary administrator for the sales collateral website (e.g., updates or posts new materials, responds to user feedback and inquiries, etc.).
  • Produces bi-weekly reports on usage of materials hosted in the sales collateral website to management and project managers; analyzes usage/traffic of site and provides recommendations on enhancements to tool and materials.
  • Works as primary gatekeeper for Scout (e.g., posts new materials, responds to user feedback and inquiries on materials, etc.).
  • Responds to and executes internal and external customer requests for changes to contact information in the database to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available.
  • Responds to customer calls and e-mails on rewards and damaged goods to ensure proper recordkeeping and distribution of replacement gifts.
  • Prepares a weekly report of replacement gifts to ensure fulfillment for customers.
  • Updates and maintains distribution lists for distribution of UPS collateral to provide accurate addresses.

  • Report Generation: Possesses ability to generate simple reports using basic functions in software, and/or writing basic queries; identifies information required to complete reports and identifies existing reports generated by others.


    Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree – Preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field – Preferred
  • Sponsorship marketing & event execution experience - Preferred
