This position is within HARMAN’s Lifestyle Audio Group located in Northridge. The Marketing Manager, Experiential Engagement will be responsible for driving the focus HARMAN brands in culture through various consumer touch points including influencer outreach, product seeding, NBA events and music activation.


Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibility.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Execute the influencer outreach strategy. Including identification of cultural moments for brand integrations, events and product seeding
  • Manage day to day liaison with influencer activation agency. Work with agency to create plan. Manage budgets, results reporting and evaluate success and improve tactics
  • Lead onsite execution of influencer events. Partner with internal groups to extend usage of events to meet other business needs. Product launch links to pr event links to influencer event. Make events serve multiple purposed where possible
  • Create product seeding strategy and lead product seeding efforts globally. Identify targets, including current ambassadors, other influencers as well as properties. And create annual plan of activation, including NBA, AEG, HRH
  • Own Limited Edition product development. Based on Product seeding strategy, identify relevant "custom" seeding opportunities and drive development of custom product. Liaison with design team and business unit to develop product and meet key deadlines
  • Drive NBA Team Execution - Work with sports agency to develop and support the execution around NBA teams. Link to internal partners is key to ensure property is fully leverage and activated to the fullest
  • NBA Marquee Events - Drive internal alignment around key properties. Ensure execution plans are in place. Work with regions, sales teams, digital and customer marketing to create break through activation .
  • Responsible for NBA Player asset management. Work with regions and Octagon to fulfill athlete needs. Including delivery of assets and gaining athlete approvals.
  • Execute music activation. Manage onsite activations, coordinating social/digital, ticket allotment, hotel block coordination


    Required Skills

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in event activation development and plan execution including digital and social activation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related discipline
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Power Point and SAP
  • Experience working cross-functionally on strategic projects
  • Experience driving projects within defined schedules with the ability to resolve issues and gates while maintaining schedules
  • Ability to allocate and manage budgets to optimize spend against approved plans

  • Eligibility Requirements: - Willingness to travel 40% of the time - Willingness to work in an office in Northridge, CA - HARMAN will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
