The Director of Sponsorships and Brand Activations will lead the efforts with a multi year robust sponsorship between a global entertainment marketing agency and Salesforce. This role will lead all strategy, planning, development and execution in support of this top tier sponsorship.
You will work closely with the existing strategic event teams, as well as internal marketing teams (e.g. Product Marketing, Campaigns, Press & Analyst Relations, Creative and Web). The position will present year over year planning and strategy to our Marketing Executive Leadership Team and manage the relationship with the entertainment marketing agency This roles is responsible for creative planning, portfolio planning, program and budget management, event execution internal communications, vendor management, analysis and reporting of program initiatives.
We are looking for an experienced sponsorship rockstar that is excited by the challenge of delivering innovative and creative marketing activations.
Responsibilities:
Execute a wide scope of marketing programs with the entertainment marketing agency including but not limited to private events, brand and digital activations and custom engagements.
Own relationship with the entertainment marketing agency and our marketing teams
Drive all communications and approvals.
Understand salesforce.com brand, salesforce.org messaging and product positioning with the ability to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging
Manage multiple, complex timetables successfully in a collaborative extremely fast paced environment
Manage executive relationships and work with cross-functional internal teams; creative services, interactive, marketing ops, which support direct efforts and collaborate closely to develop and successfully execute programs
Research and report on new opportunities and customer engagements withthe entertainment marketing agency
Provide onsite event support and manage the execution team
Manage and contribute towards creative problem solving
Create planning decks and post event summary decks for all stakeholders
Ability to maintain a heavy travel schedule
10+ years successful sponsorship management experience planning
complex preferably in a B2B, high-tech, fast-paced environment.
Proven effectiveness in contract/ sponsorship negotiations
Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to creatively negotiate demands
Results-oriented, customer driven, organized with attention to detail
Ability to assess and prioritize workload in a strict deadline oriented environment
Thrive on teamwork and overcoming obstacles.
Stellar written and verbal communication and customer service skills, with the ability to proactively address needs
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required.
