Our sponsorship partners recognize the value of IBM solutions in connecting with key audiences and in the future of digital systems of engagement. As we strive to meet these demands, exceed expectations and lead the market, it is more important than ever to understand the landscape and ecosystem so that we can continue to develop differentiated solutions to drive measurable business results. It is also critical that we enable our sellers to leverage these solutions. The position outlined below is required to meet these increasing demands.


As part of the Global sponsorship team – this individual would be charged with marketing management responsibilities across our global sponsorship portfolio, including:


Market and competitive analysis:

  • Analyze technology, sports and sponsorship markets, analyzing trends, opportunities and IBM’s position and potential
  • Analyze emerging audiences and behaviors
  • Analyze strategies and positions of traditional and start up competitors in the sports/entertainment/sponsorship space


    Measurement:

  • Create and maintain KPI’s for sponsorship programs
  • Evaluate the financial aspects of activation, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return-on-investment
  • Manage data integration from sponsorships into marketing programs including social programs and immersive digital experiences that drive enhanced client experiences.


    Sales Enablement:

  • Manage sales enablement content creation and deployment


    Global Coordination (standards between programs):

  • Develop a common program framework and platform that can be customized as necessary for each program


    Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience managing global Marketing and Communications programs
  • 3+ years of marketing experience supporting global initiatives with knowledge of effective market research, program management and measurement and marketing enablement
  • 2+ years supporting client events and programs either domestically or globally
  • Intermediate proficiency in digital communication techniques and methods including Social Media



    Required Education: Bachelor's Degree


    Travel Required: Up to 10% or 1 day a week
